FIRST DAY –Departure 06:30 am.
We begin the adventure heading to the sacred valley of the Incas, in OLLANTAYTAMBO we will make a brief stop to appreciate the landscapes of the area, we will continue the trip by a winding ascent, heading to the Habá de Málaga located at a height of 4316 m.a.s.l. from where we will be able to spectate the most wonderful landscapes of the Peruvian geography.
After a brief stop to take photos we will begin the descent towards the high jungle, passing through the different altitudinal floors that combine paradisiacal landscapes from majestic snow-capped mountains to the hot jungle edge, to the town of Sta. María (1575 m.a.s.l.) we will find a path in perfect condition completely paved. Place from where the dirt road begins (unpaved) to continue to the town of Santa Teresa. Arrive at the Hydroelectric sector, where we will have a reasonable time to enjoy a delicious lunch, later we will continue. Optionally, you can take the local train to Machupicchu town or you can take a 9 km walk that lasts approximately 2 to 2 ½ hours, the road is flat parallel to the railway line, once in the town we will stay at the designated hostel, at Next, we will have dinner where the explanation talk will be received for the guided tour the next day to the citadel of Machupicchu.
