HUAYPO-SALINERAS ATVS:

It starts at 7:00 in the morning or 1:00 pm, leaving the city of Cusco to kilometer 39 of the highway (Cusco – Ollanta). Private transportation will take around 45 minutes to 01 hour to reach the all-terrain vehicle base from Cusco. There will be a 10-to-15-minute training session to familiarize you with the all-terrain vehicles. The ATV tour begins and approximately 10 minutes later we will make our first stop to enjoy a majestic view of the important snow-capped mountains of this place such as Nevado Chiquito and Nevado Verónica.

Continuing our tour, the route consists of climbing landscapes. Incredible descents and lots of fun, 45-minute ride to the impressive Archaeological Center of Moray, with a 15-minute stop. Continuing our tour, we will pass through the typical town of Maras, which is characterized by its colonial layers. As a final point of the visit, we will visit the salt mines known as Salinas de Mara. Quads can circulate up to the entrance checkpoint, as the rest of the road is considered too dangerous to drive. To reach the salt mines, our agency offers a 15-minute round-trip transportation service for a walk and a visit; then return to the ATV base, return to Cusco.
